Cycle tour day 3

The longer you cycle the more your brain turns to mush. You feel fine, but two plus five all of a sudden becomes the hardest problem you’ve ever had to solve. If you haven’t eaten the problem gets worse.

After visiting the awesome Lego museum at the campsite this morning, we continued our route north. After about 50 kilometres we were feeling kinda tired out and had found somewhere to cook and camp. We were absolutely ravenous. Unfortunately as we could start cooking the mosquitoes started appearing. Before we knew it we were running out of the forest as fast as we could to escape the colossal swarms of the bloody things.

About five kilometres later I was so hungry I almost felt like I was going to faint. We found somewhere along the roadside that we could cook. The mosquitoes were many, but more reasonable. It took what felt like an eternity to find a place to set up camp. Deforestation and logging operations make up a large are of this part of Sweden, especially along the roads. This makes it very hard to find somewhere you won’t be woken up by the roar of machinery in the distance.

We are somewhere that seems alright now, I hope. A mosquito tried to bite me in the dick earlier when I was taking a piss. It was unpleasant.
